CWN is proud to announce the Winners and Honorable Mention stories and authors of the 2010 Short Story Contest. This year we have repeat winners and multiple honorable mention honorees. We even have a husband and wife winners, and a father son duo with honorable mentions stories. Congratulations to all!

2nd Place - "Ellie’s Gift" by Jo Anne Conard, The Villages, FL. Jo is a past winner and honorable mention honoree. “I am surprised and very pleased to have been chosen as one of the winners in the Creative Writer’s Notebook short story contest!”

 

 

3rd Place - "Winter on Hemlock Avenue" by Peter Shianna, The Villages, FL. This is the first win for Pete, but he has earned multiple honorable mentions in the past, and again this year! "I know several of the writers who entered, so take me at my word when I say I'm honored and more than a little surprised to have placed third."
